Built around the XMOS XU316 processor with SMSL's CK-03 ultra-low-jitter clock circuit, it features a built-in AKM AK4493S DAC chip that enables full MQA decoding without additional software, plus optical, coaxial, and I2S (HDMI LVDS) digital outputs in two selectable modes — decoder and digital turntable. The PO100 PRO serves as both a high-quality USB bridge for any DAC and a complete MQA decoding solution in a compact aluminum chassis.

Built-In AKM AK4493S DAC with MQA Decoding

Unlike standard USB interfaces, the PO100 PRO integrates an AKM AK4493S digital-to-analog converter chip. This enables full MQA hardware decoding without requiring specialized playback software like foobar2000 or Audirvana. Simply connect via USB and the PO100 PRO unfolds MQA-encoded content with studio-authenticated precision through its digital outputs.

I2S, Optical, and Coaxial Digital Outputs

Three digital output formats provide maximum flexibility: I2S (HDMI LVDS) for the highest-quality direct digital connection to compatible DACs, optical TOSLINK for galvanically isolated connections, and coaxial RCA SPDIF for wide compatibility. The PO100 PRO supports two output modes — decoder mode for MQA unfolding and digital turntable mode for direct USB-to-digital conversion.
