The TOPPING L70 is a fully balanced desktop headphone amplifier built around the same NFCA (Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) module used in TOPPING’s flagship A90. Combining a true balanced signal path from input to output, an R2R relay volume control, and a dynamic range of 146dB, the L70 delivers a pitch-black background, effortless control, and universal output flexibility. It doubles as a high-quality preamplifier and includes a full-function remote control – a complete, world-ready reference amplifier available in Black and Silver.

NFCA Amplifier Module – TOPPING House Sound

The L70 uses the same NFCA module as the A90, giving it the TOPPING "house sound." The voltage-current hybrid feedback architecture, combined with UHGF (Ultra High Gain Feedback) technology, provides excellent DC and AC performance, ultra-low THD+N below 0.000055%, and a dynamic range of 146dB – revealing micro-details in your music that other amplifiers simply miss.

Fully Balanced Circuit with Four Headphone Outputs

The built-in fully balanced amplifier circuit performs exceptionally well with both balanced and single-ended headphones. Four jacks accommodate virtually every headphone termination: 4-pin XLR balanced, 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced, 6.35mm single-ended, and 3.5mm single-ended – no adapters needed for most cables.

Ultimate Compatibility with Any Headphone

TOPPING designed the L70 to power the vast majority of headphones. High output voltage easily drives high-impedance headphones; high output current drives low-sensitivity headphones with up to 7500mW×2 into 32Ω; an ultra-low noise floor keeps high-sensitivity IEMs hiss-free; and an output impedance below 0.1Ω avoids unwanted effects on the frequency response of low-impedance headphones.

Two Gain Settings for Any Source

The L70 offers two selectable gain levels covering a wide range of use cases – from low-sensitivity full-sized headphones to high-sensitivity IEMs – letting you match the output precisely to your gear.

R2R Relay Volume Control

The L70 uses an R2R volume control composed of relays and resistor networks, bringing precise control, long durability, and complete channel balance – a level of refinement normally found only in flagship designs.

Volume Memory for Eight Outputs

The L70 memorizes volume and gain settings for 8 separate outputs. Customize each setting for different headphones and other devices, and switch between them instantly – vastly increasing day-to-day usability.

Doubles as a Preamplifier

In preamp mode, connect a power amplifier to drive bookshelf, desktop, or floor-standing speakers. With RCA, TRS, and XLR output ports plus the included remote control, you can control your entire system from the comfort of your listening position.

12V Trigger & Ground Loop Elimination

A 12V trigger on the rear panel links power on/off between compatible devices – turn on one unit and the rest of the system comes on automatically. A GND/LIFT switch eliminates ground loop hum when multiple pieces of equipment are used together.
